Kiari Kendrell Cephus, better known by his stage name Offset, is one of the most prominent rappers in the contemporary hip-hop scene. Born on December 14, 1991 in Atlanta, Georgia, he rose to fame as a member of the legendary group Migos, who dominated the music charts with hits such as Bad and Boujee, T-Shirt and Walk It Talk It. However, Offset also built a successful solo career that has placed him among the elite of world rap.

The road to success and the Migos era

Offset, along with his cousin Quavo and the late Takeoff, formed the group Migos in 2008. After early success with mixtapes, they finally made a name for themselves in 2013 with the track Versace, which went viral and gained recognition from rap legend Drake. However, the real breakthrough came in 2017 with Culture, which included the megahit Bad and Boujee. The track reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and the group became a global sensation.

Migos continued their success with Culture II (2018) and Culture III (2021), featuring iconic hits such as Stir Fry, Motorsport (with Nicki Minaj and Cardi B) and Need It.

Solos, hits and successes

In 2019, Offset released his debut solo album Father of 4, on which he showed a more personal and introspective side of himself. The album included hits like Red Room and Clout, which he recorded with his wife, famous rapper Cardi B. Critics praised his authentic storytelling and insight into fatherhood and life at the top of the music world.

In 2023, he released another solo album , Set It Off, which debuted at the top of the charts. The project featured tracks such as Fan, Say My Grace with Travis Scott and Hop Out The Van. Offset showed his musical maturity and ability to continually push the boundaries of rap in this album.

Legendary collaborations

Offset is known for his collaborations with the biggest names in the music industry. In addition to his work with Migos and Cardi B, he has appeared on tracks with artists such as Drake, 21 Savage, Metro Boomin, Kodak Black, Travis Scott and Future. His versatility and unique flow allow him to excel in a variety of musical styles, from aggressive trap bangers to melodic anthems.

One of his most notable collaborations was Ric Flair's Drip with 21 Savage and Metro Boomin, which became a platinum hit and is still one of his most iconic songs today.
